It all started with a worn-out keycap.
About a year into using my keyboard, I started noticing something that really bothered me.
The WASD keys were already looking worn. Then the Enter key started fading too. Before I knew it, the whole keyboard had that tired, used-up look.
And honestly, it made sense. I spend a lot of time at my computer, so those keys were getting used constantly.
I started looking for a set of good-quality keycaps that could actually handle everyday use. But I quickly ran into a problem: most of the good options were close to $100 or more. At that point, I could almost just buy a brand-new keyboard.
So I decided to try something different.
I started researching PBT materials, contacted factories, and began working with manufacturers to create my own keycaps. The first samples were far from what I wanted. The second ones weren't great either.
So I kept going.
Sample after sample, I tested different materials, finishes and quality levels. Every round got a little better. Eventually, I had a set that felt great, looked great, and could actually stand up to everyday use β without costing a fortune.
And that's how Kenjito was born.
We're here to make high-quality keycaps that look good, feel good, and are built to last, without the ridiculous price tag.
Because you shouldn't have to replace your keyboard just because your keycaps wore out.
